You can now set a minimum stock level for each part, and optionally a quantity to reorder. Set it from the Stock page or from the part’s Summary.
Stock marks a part “Below minimum” when its available stock, across all revisions and locations, is under its own minimum. Parts without a minimum are never marked. Available stock leaves out what open build orders hold, and for serialized parts it leaves out quarantined units.
The new Below minimum tab on Inventory lists each shortfall with the available quantity, the minimum and the quantity to reorder. You can edit the minimum on any row.
The dashboard shows a banner with the number of parts below their minimum and links to that tab.
Units that leave stock also count against the minimum. That covers quarantine, scrap, shipping, a failed inspection, a return for repair and deployment, as well as reservations and write-offs.
You can also record a stock count. To correct a lot after a count, expand a material on Stock, open “Adjust” on the lot, and enter the counted quantity and a reason. If the lot changed since you opened the dialog, the adjustment is refused and tells you the new quantity on hand.
