Work instruction steps can show photos and diagrams. In the process editor you add an image from the assembly’s files or upload a new one. Each image needs alt text and can have a caption. You can reorder and remove them. PNG, JPEG and WebP files up to 10 MB are accepted. Operators see the images in the produce wizard, and each unit’s page shows the images that were in force when it was built.
A step can cite a manual. Manuals now have their own file kind, and a step’s manual picker has a “Upload a manual” link, so you no longer need to file a manual as a datasheet first. The limit is 32 MB per file.
Each substep can name its page in the manual. While an operator works through the substeps, the manual pane opens at the page of the first substep not yet ticked. A substep’s page is a link that moves the pane there. The unit’s record keeps these pages too.
